Connecting Dynamic Metafields

️Setup Guide

Step 1: Create the Metafield Definition in Shopify Admin

1. Navigate to Shopify Admin > Settings > Custom Data.
2. Select Products (or Collections, depending on where you need it).
3. Click Add definition.
4. Set the Name (e.g. Size Guide Image or YouTube Link).
5. Select the appropriate Type (e.g. File for images, or URL for video links).
6. Click Save.

Step 2: Input Data in the Product Dashboard

1. Go to Shopify Admin > Products.
2. Select a product.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the product page to find the Metafields card.
4. Input or upload the specific data (e.g., upload the unique size guide image for this product).
5. Click Save.

Step 3: Link the Metafield in the Theme Editor

1. Open the Theme Editor and navigate to your Product page template.
2. Select or add a block (e.g. an Image with Text block or a Product Tab accordion).
3. Click the Connect dynamic source icon (database icon) next to the input field.
4. Select the Metafield you created in Step 1.
5. Click Connect and Save.
