This guide explains how to customize search overlays and suggested search keywords.
Customizing Search Suggestions
Access these settings under Theme Settings (Gear Icon) > Search & Header.
1. Popular Searches Configuration
When a visitor clicks the search button in the header, the search popup overlay appears. You can display popular keywords underneath the search input to guide visitors:
- Locate the Popular Searches field in the settings panel.
- Enter your keywords separated by commas (e.g.
Laptop, Phone, Watch). - These terms will display as clickable tags under the search input.
2. Predictive Search Capabilities
The theme features a predictive search system that shows real-time search results as the customer types, including:
- Product Matches: Title, pricing, and availability.
- Collections Matches: Direct collection links.
- Pages & Blogs: Excerpts from matching articles.
