The Showcase Collection template (collection.showcase.json) is designed to create a landing page experience for high-value collections.
️Layout Sections
Unlike standard collection templates, the Showcase Collection template integrates multiple sections into a single page:
- Showcase Hero: A widescreen banner detailing the collection’s theme.
- Featured Showcase Grid: A spotlight row showcasing the top 3 best-selling items in the collection.
- Main Collection Grid: The product catalog grid with filters.
- Collection Stats: A metrics bar showing collection statistics (e.g. total items, customer satisfaction).
- Showcase CTA: A promotional banner offering discount codes or gift cards.
Template Activation
- In the Shopify Admin, navigate to Collections and select your collection.
- Under the Theme template dropdown card, select collection.showcase.
- Click Save.
