If you sell in multiple countries, you can enable the built-in Language Switcher (language-switcher.liquid) to allow customers to select their preferred language.
️How to Configure
Step 1: Enable Languages in Shopify Admin
- Navigate to Shopify Admin > Settings > Languages.
- Click Add language and select your target languages (e.g. Arabic, French).
- Publish the languages.
Step 2: Add the Switcher Section in Theme Editor
- Open the Theme Editor.
- In the sidebar, navigate to the Header group (or Footer group).
- Click Add section and select Language Switcher.
- Drag to adjust its position.
Step 3: Customize Styles
- Button Shape: Choose Pill, Rounded, or Square button styles.
- Toggle Colors: Customize the background, text, border, and hover colors of both the toggle button and the dropdown list.
